Kinder & Kinder Jr Ages 4-6 Homeschool Resource Center 307 S. Parsons Ave. Brandon, FL 33511 Mondays beginning August 19th and running for 12 weeks (no class Labor Day ) 9:00-10:00 AM Kinder Jr: The focus of the Kinder Jr. curriculum is on fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a nurturing and stimulating environment. In Kinder Jr. students will engage in activities that promote language development, such as storytelling, singing songs, and engaging in conversations with peers and the teacher. They also begin to develop early literacy skills through exposure to books, letter recognition, and basic phonics activities. Mathematical concepts are introduced through hands-on activities that help children understand basic counting, sorting, shapes, and patterning. Fine motor skills are developed through activities such as drawing, coloring, cutting, and pasting, while gross motor skills are honed through outdoor play and movement activities. In addition to academic skills, Kinder Jr class also focuses on social and emotional development. Children learn how to interact with their peers, share, take turns, and express their emotions in a healthy way. Early Bird Registration is $150 Register HERE! Desiree Windle is a wife and mother of four children ages 12, 8, 4, and 2 years old. She grew up loving to teach anyone who would listen, including the teddy bears and baby dolls! The love for teaching started as a child and never left her. Desiree was a nanny from the age of 15 and loved teaching and caring for children as soon as she could she started working in daycares and taught ages 2-4. When she graduated high school she knew exactly what she wanted to do, while she went to school she worked as a CNA until she finished and then went on to teach mostly VPK and Kinder until the birth of her first child when she took a break for a year, taught again for another year until she decided she loved staying home, spending all the time with her boy and teaching him. Desiree has homeschooled from the beginning with her oldest child and is currently homeschooling three of her children.
