Summer Quilting Camp Homeschool Resource Center 307 S. Parsons Ave. Brandon, 33511 June 19th-23rd 10:30-AM-3:00 PM Age 8 and up Come learn or improve your quilting skills this summer! In this week long quilt camp students will learn the basics of quilting both by hand and machine, each child will make their very own quilted project to bring home at the end of the week. Please send a sack lunch and water bottle. Appropriate for kids aged 8 and up that can tie shoes independently. Sewing experience is not necessary, but ability to use scissors, safe cutting and ironing and use of rotary cutter will be helpful. Materials, threads and notions will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their personal sewing boxes and clothes iron for day 1 and 2. Personal sewing machines welcome but not required. Parents are welcome to stay and assist or drop and go.
