Coach Bio: I was in 2nd grade the first time I picked up my sister’s discarded dance class baton. My mom showed me a few tricks she had learned as a girl from her majorette sister. I was immediately hooked and wanted to learn more. My mom found a local recreational class and that is how I fell in love with this sport that shaped me into the woman I am today. I started competing in 5th grade and twirled for my school from 8th grade until high school graduation. Competing allowed me to travel and experience both failures and victories. Twirling in front of crowds taught me poise, self-confidence, and how to keep a smile on my face even if I dropped a baton. Learning these important skills helped me become more resilient while navigating life’s natural ups and downs. I am now a certified Level I United States Twirling Association coach and am also qualified to teach with National Baton Twirling Association. I would love the opportunity to share with your child my love and passion for the sport of baton twirling.
