SPRING 2025 Classes: Virtual Classes begin January 6th - April 2nd Tuesdays @ 10:30 am–Minecraft: Mini Games (virtual) Let the games begin! In this virtual Minecraft class, students will learn how to make a variety of games in Minecraft including mazes, race games, obstacle courses, and more. Students will need to have a device with Minecraft and a Minecraft account. Classes will be held through Zoom. Ages: 6 and up Cost: $150 HEAT Members $160 Non HEAT Members Cost: $150 Limit: 15 students Classes begin January 7th - April 1st
You may pay online, drop payment by the HRC or mail to Tampa Bay HEAT, 1011 Knowles Rd. Brandon, 33511 Tanci Mishler was a children’s librarian who has worked in libraries from the age of 13. She worked for the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative for 8 years. During that time, she taught classes for homeschoolers for 6 years on a variety of subjects including history, science, public speaking, technology, and literature. Inspired by the wonderful families she met during her classes, she left the library a few years ago to teach her own children. She continues her work with libraries by providing thematic STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) programs and writing for the Collaborative Summer Learning Program, a national organization that provides summer reading programs and materials. |
