Parsons Ave. Brandon, 33511 Hillsborough County 4-H STEM Lego Simple Machines Appropriate for students age 8 and up The Lego Simple Machines activities is designed for grades 3-8. The students will work in pairs to build, investigate, and learn from the models. Each activity encourages the students to involve themselves in real world investigations and an problem solving. They will make assumptions or predictions, then build the models and observe the behavior of the models; they reflect the redesign, record and present their findings. The class is limited to 20 students because I have a limited number of Lego sets. This class is not recommended for students that are not familiar with putting Lego Sets together. It’s a fast paced class that requires students to work without a lot of guidance from the instructor.
