Pottery Class August 19th-November 11th (except Labor Day) Monday 12:45-1:45 1st grade through 5th grade ages 6-10 Monday 2pm-3pm 6th grade to 8th grade ages 11-14. The class will be $200. $170 for the class and $30 for materials. Students will be working with stoneware (high fire clay) to create their own pottery. Everything they make will be non-toxic and food safe. Hi! I am Regina Rohm, Heat's new pottery teacher. A little about me is that I was homeschooled K-12 grade and graduated from SEU with a bachelors in Visual Arts and Organizational Leadership. Beside teaching at heat I own Pottery By Regina where I produce and sell distinctive handmade pottery. My background in ceramics comes from my college education and an apprenticeship with an artist specializing in ceramics. Over the 12 weeks my 1st through 5th grade class (ages 6-10) will work on and complete 9 projects. Some include, coil pots, pinch pot animals, and decorative flower vases. Week 1-3: Coils Week 4-8: Pinch Pot Week 9-12: Slab Building Over the 12 weeks my 6th through 8th grade class (ages 11-14) will work on and complete 9 projects.
