Tampa Bay HEAT Cross Country
Fall 2022
Participating in Tampa Bay HEAT’s fall cross country season is convenient for families with kids of all grade levels, 3rd thru 12th grade. (We have another running season in Jan that will include k-2nd grade) All High school, middle school and elementary practices are scheduled at the same time and in the same place.
There are no tryouts for cross country, however if you have a high schooler that is interested in running cross country in the fall, please reach out to me during the summer, Coach Laura, 813-625-1417 for some summer running workouts.

HS Cross Country Meet Schedule: All races are 5k
High School athletes must compete in min of 5 cross country meets

Cost: $225
Uniforms are provided with $50 deposit.
We are currently exploring uniform options and may have the option of purchasing your jersey. Many of our athletes prefer to keep their jerseys as a keepsake of their high school years.
There is mandatory
FHSAA paperwork that must be completed to participate
in high school-level sports. This must be completed and submitted before the first practice.
There will be an opportunity for assistance with FHSAA paperwork on July 21st from 8-10 AM at the Homeschool Resource Center. There will be an opportunity for paperwork assistance and for physicals (required to participate in high school level sports) on July 28th from 10:00 AM-Noon. Please contact Dr. April Lee at
