On the Dairy Tour...Your actual tour (about 1-1/2 hours) includes a hayride through the free stall barns, seeing where our mama cows are milked and where all the yummy milk is stored before it’s bottled. Feed the calves, goats, and sheep all while learning about their importance in agriculture. Get a first-hand look at how a cow is milked. You may also visit the Processing Facility where everyone will learn how milk gets from the cow to the grocery store! Tour perks include (but are not limited to) tasting our delicious whole or chocolate milk. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes appropriate for touring a working farm. Bring a lunch and enjoy under the covered pavilion. Enjoy the playground, fossil dig, Sand Mountain, and learn about our goats and sheep. We are excited to share with you our renovated marketplace, "Pete's Place @ Dakin Dairy" - stocked with new, delicious ice creams, the freshest possible milk, cheeses, butter, and eggs. All together with our same beloved farm reopened for tours. Come see our colossal barns, 70 stall milking parlor, milk processing plant, and of course the cows.
