Yearbook Club 2023-2024

 

High school-Adults

(mature middle school students with leader approval)

 

Do you enjoy taking pictures and creating photo albums? Are you interested in learning about Yearbook layouts? Consider joining the HEAT Yearbook Club!

Why join yearbook club? It looks great on college applications, and it’s a great way to give back to our organization.

Being a part of the yearbook club lets you be involved in parts of the HEAT outside of your own activities. It also gives you more of a say about what goes into the yearbook - so seniors may especially want to consider joining.

Yearbook club needs photographers and layout artists. We also need members who are interested in writing captions, and editing text. No experience is necessary.

Photographers will be assigned jobs that fit their level of experience and will be helped to improve their skills.

Layout artists will learn composition, how to create pages, and how to work with the specific yearbook program.

Yearbook meets every other Friday afternoon from 1:15-2:45 at the HRC starting August 25.

Instructor Bio:

Hi, My name is Melissa Beckley and I’m a momma to 6 wonderful children, we have been homeschooling for 5 years now and we’re loving every minute of it. I am the owner and photographer of Running Circles Photography.

 

We’re huge fans of the HEAT and its amazing classes. I am looking forward to helping your students have fun while preserving memories of their school years.
