Tampa Bay HEAT Drama Troupe Auditions for Alice in Wonderland High School & Middle School Casts Monday Drama Troupe (age 10 and up) We are excited to announce our Fall 2023 production! Performances will be December 8th, 9th, and 10th (afternoon/evening) Due to the growth of our drama troupe program, we are now offer a high school and a middle school troupe. They will practice on separate days and will have separate shows but on the same days. Auditions August 14th (Monday Troupe), August 15th (HS) and August 17th (MS)! Please register online as soon as possible if you plan to audition! We have a registration & payment deadline of August 4th, however slots fill up quickly. Should both casts fill, a waitlist will be started. Monday Drama Troupe (Age 10 and up) will meet on Mondays 3:15-5:15 PM beginning August 21st High School Troupe (ages 14 & up by audition date) will meet on Tuesdays, beginning August 22nd TIME: 2:30-4:30 PM Middle School Troupe (ages 10-13 by audition date) will meet on Thursdays from 3:45-5:45 beginning August 24th LOCATION: Homeschool Resource Center 307 S. Parsons Ave. Brandon, 33511 MORE: . The High School troupe will once again be led by Hal Granholm, our Middle School Troupe will be led by the talented Jen Holmstrom. Our wonderful Drama Coordinators Kelsey and Audrey will be back to keep all of the details organized! April Lee will handle choreography. Here is the format for the troupe auditions: - · Participants should prepare for their audition by familiarizing themselves with the story and characters.
- · Participants should prepare a short monologue (their choice). It should be approximately one minute.
- · A cold-read of the script may also be requested.
- · Participants must register online. Audition sign ups will be released after registration is complete.
Registration to participate in this production for $150 for the semester. This includes a script and cast t-shirt. Siblings may join the fun for $110. You must be a HEAT member to participate in the drama program. Everyone who auditions will receive a part in the production. Payment is due by August 4th and is non-refundable. We have had to create this format due to people auditioning and then quitting if they do not receive their dream role. A project of this undertaking requires lots of hands, so each family is required to assist in some way with the production (set up, clean up, lighting, sound, backstage help, etc.) This is part of the FUN of a big drama production!
