Tanci Mishler was a children’s librarian who has worked in libraries from the age of 13. She worked for the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative for 8 years. During that time, she taught classes for homeschoolers for 6 years on a variety of subjects including history, science, public speaking, technology, and literature. Inspired by the wonderful families she met during her classes, she left the library a few years ago to teach her own children. She continues her work with libraries by providing thematic STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) programs and writing for the Collaborative Summer Learning Program, a national organization that provides summer reading programs and materials. |
